acquisition of all ceramics both past and

About the Iowa Art Pottery Association
In August, 1999 seventeen interested pottery collectors met
at the home of Mark & Marie Latta to discuss the idea of a
pottery club. That first get-together produced the Iowa Art
Pottery Association. IAPA is a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to the aesthetic appreciation of art pottery.
IAPA brings people together who share a common love for art
pottery. A newsletter is printed quarterly with featured
articles, insights and event updates.

Meetings
Meetings are held the first Sunday of the following
months, January, March, May, August, October and
December. Meetings are held at the new Wilton Library/Community Center on Cypress St., Wilton Iowa. |

The Wilton, Iowa location is geographically central
to its growing membership. Members are encouraged to
bring a favorite piece of pottery to the meetings
for "show and tell". With education as a central
focus of the IAPA, programs are presented by
speakers who have in-depth knowledge about a
particular pottery company or subject. IAPA welcomes
new members who wish to learn about and engage in
the enjoyment of art pottery. |

Membership Information
Membership dues are $15.00
for a single and $20.00 for a couple.
